Happy Gotcha Day is going to be celebrated across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to celebrate the adoption of more than 15000 homeless pets. All these pets do not have a birthday and so Happy Gotcha Day will instead be celebrated by the family that adopts them. About 1400 petsmart stores will be hosting this event and make these animals feel like family for the first time in their lives.
Bringing home a new pet is like bringing home a newborn baby or another family member. This day will be remembered and celebrated for all these pets as the day they got their own family. All the love and care that you show to these pets will be given right back at you relentlessly. Post pictures on facebook, twitter, instagram and all those social media hubs and show off your newest member. This not only gives you huge thumbs up, but helps you to support this lifesaving event.
A petsmart starter kit is provided for every pet parent. It includes lots of information on how to care for your pet, be it a dog or a cat, grooming details, vet information and coupons worth $400. These coupons are redeemable for loads of pet equipment like beds, food, free one time services like visiting the Vet, doggie camp and much more. Free food samples are also given as part of this kit to ensure that healthy food is extremely vital under any circumstance and a healthy pet equals a happy pet equals a happy family.
